The SCRS (Solar Charging Rifle Sight) advances Holosun’s SCS technology creating an all-new, ultra compact 20mm tube sight designed for long gun applications. SCRS features multi-directional light sensors and an advanced Auto Mode for automatic reticle intensity settings and Manual Mode for manual control of dot intensity.
SCRS is made from 7075 aluminum and includes a lower 1/3 co-witness, 1.63” mount that utilizes Holosun’s proven 509T footprint for compatibility with third-party offset RDS mounts. SCRS is available with a 2MOA dot only or Holosun’s MRS (Multi-Reticle System). SCRS features 12 reticle intensity settings, four of which are compatible with night vision devices and up to 50k hour battery life.
Solar Failsafe™
Solar Failsafe Technology is one of many innovations featured on solar-equipped Holosun optics. With Solar Failsafe, if your battery fails you always have a backup power source when natural or artificial light is available. Solar Failsafe is activated while in Auto Mode where reticle intensity is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light the solar cell receives. In brighter conditions you have a brighter reticle and in lower-light conditions the reticle will step down in intensity to match any lighting conditions. On models equipped with a super capacitor, it is possible to run the optic, indefinitely, in daytime and night conditions, by maintaining a charge through the Solar Failsafe System all without a battery.
