Operations

The Halo 2.0 button on the front activates the one-touch record feature and begins recording immediately. At the press of a button, an officer can check the battery level. Blue LED's indicates how much battery life is left. Magnetic contact connection eliminates USB connectivity problems and ensures reliable charging and data transfer. For maximum comfort, fit, and wearability, the durable metal clip rotates a full 360 degrees.

The Single Docking Port (discounted option for $25 when purchased with Halo 2.0 - RRP $65) charges and transfers data from a single Halo Body Camera.

The Halo 2.0 8-camera docking port (coming soon) is able to charge and transfer files from up to 8 Halo Cameras at the same time (with the WEMS Pro Software). Notation Software Not Available in Australia.

• Wolfcom Evidence Management Software - WEMS Lite Pro (Multi Cam Edition) The WOLFCOM Halo 2.0 Police Camera has its own proprietary docking station that's able to charge and download the files from multiple cameras at once. The docking station can be connected to your pc's USB using the WEMS Lite Pro Software. This allows automatic transfer of videos, photos, and audio recordings. Once files have been transferred, you can easily manage, search and add details to your recorded files.
• Vibration and Visual Confirmations Alerts The unit has vibration confirmation when activating and de-activating recording. An officer can also look at the top of the unit's indicator light to confirm if his body camera is ON and Recording.
• Recording The Halo 2.0 features a unique recording operation where you simply press the front button twice (from camera being off) and video/audio recording will kick in. Or from the standby mode, also press the front button twice and your camera will instantly record. Simultaneously take photos by pressing the photo button on the side of the device. To stop recording, simply hold the front button - this prevents you from accidentally stopping your recordings.
• Flashback Feature Never miss a crucial piece of evidence! When Flashback is set, the camera will record continually in the background and so you will always have thew camera running - even when you forget to turn on the camera! The massive battery power allows this to cover your whole shift.
• Public Awareness Light (PAL) The Halo Body Camera features a Public Awareness Light (PAL), located on the front of the unit. The purpose of the PAL is to inform the public that they are being recorded, to promote good behaviour. The device can also be set to Stealth mode where the PAR is not activated during recording.
• 32 Megapixel Built-in Digital Camera This police body camera allows officers to quickly and seamlessly snap photos at the press of a button, even if the unit is already recording. Its built-in 32 megapixels digital camera will make sure to always capture every detail.
• Halo 2.0 Magnetic Mount WOLFCOM’s Magnetic Mount allows you to mount your WOLFCOM Halo 2.0 Police Body Camera anywhere on your uniform in a matter of seconds! The magnets are extremely strong, making it one of the most reliable body camera mounts in the industry.
• Halo 2.0 Car Mount The WOLFCOM Halo Body Camera can be turned into an affordable in-car camera with this easy-to-use suction mount. Simply attach it to the camera and mount it on the vehicle windshield. (Please never leave the camera in a car as heat can cause lithium batteries to explode).
• Halo 2.0 Pin Lock Clip Our new Pin Lock Clip is the most secure and versatile body camera clip on the market! It can be mounted anywhere on the uniform and allows officers to attach/detach the Halo 2.0 using one hand.
• Night Vision Capability The WOLFCOM Halo 2.0 police camera features infrared LEDs for lowlight and night time situations. Night vision is configurable and can be turned on or off according to each department's policies.

* Recording time is dependent on settings (eg. infra red, HD, LED lights, etc) and can range from 10 to 20 hours continual recording.
