The double locks are activated in a way that they can not be accidentally activated too easily. Smith & Wesson has solved the problem with levers that move away from the direction in which you're cuffing so the lever won't accidentally be engaged. With wrist opening of 2.04 inch, weight 10.0oz and distance between the cuffs is 2.00 inch.
