Scorpion PPE Knee & Shin Protector

An innovative lightweight product that fits the curvature of the officer's lower leg. This unique Scorpion limb protector ensures there are no pressure points on the knee or ankle and incorporating cotton covered straps for maximum comfort. Easy to deploy, the guards are available either full-cover or lightweight in 5 sizes.

Knee and Shin Protectors are designed to be worn under coveralls and in conjunction with thigh protectors and ankle length boots. They are handed, ‘left’ and ‘right’ and marked LH and RH with an indent to the foam at the bottom of the protector.  The knee cup should sit centrally over the knee cap, ideally with its top edge resting against the lower edge of the thigh guard, or there should be a gap no more than 5cms between the thigh protector and knee cup. Fasten the knee, calf and lower calf straps to a secure but non restrictive fit. It should be possible to bend the knee fully, walk, run and climb stairs with minimal difference in perceived effort or impedance. Closure of the coveralls over the protector should be easily accomplished, and movement non restrictive. Seek an alternative/larger coverall if movement is restricted.
