Have you guys thought of running a 2 hour survival and first aid workshop, set up a tent some where, get cheap registration fee for members, sausage sizzles, and promote your gear.

Bug home/out bags. I include in mine a battery operated short wave radio transmitter, home made as u cant buy something like that, it also has a general coverage reciever for am and short wave as well. Being a ham operator is good as well. Intel is going to be soo important, knowing where the trouble is and avoiding or being ready for it will make the difference between survival and….Dont overlook a bycycle as they are cheap/free from the local tip and can cover a lot of ground quickly, even if the roads are jammed or an emp/cme has fried your car. Water in most situations will be available, especially in rural areas, but purification tabs are a must.a small uhf cb radio is a good investment, once again as intel will be valuable. For a bhb, spare batterys probably arnt needed as you should aim to be home in a few days at most, but a bug out bag, batterys and solar charging will be necessary. Dont show lights at night.
